Some digis

Back from the depths of silence and blockage! Hope everyone's doing fine, although I doubt that "everyone " makes more than the ocassional one or two people that may stumble across this xD, but anyway, here I am, brought some scribles, sketches and ideas, there's an awfull one with a kid and a wooden sword and a giant dog, and there's another one like that that also looks bad, but It`s kind of an intent to really see how am I doing at "unlocking" my imagination, so yeah, I think the new one, although dirty and messy conveys the message better, so there ya go. Oh and CA is down right now so I guess this update is exclusive for the blog :O Hmmm there's also some concepts and a couple ideas, also I've included a quickie I did on PS this week, i'll be bringing a lot more next week. On overall I must say I'm quite happy with the progress, altough it might not show on the final result I really feel like I'm starting to really convey what I want as far as ideas go. And well, if it helps me study more, it's positive, I tend to hate everything I do so this is a welcome change, to like something of mine :P Anyway I keep writing shit and all you want is get to the fucking pictures ( but I honestly doubt you read this first though xD). So there ya go, hope you have a nice day and all that!

Everyday's Struggle

Hey. Well I'm keeping it up. quite happy with the progres, and althought the results could be way better I'm pleased enough for now, specially cause I feel like every day I learn a ton on what NOT to do and what tends to be convenient. And I had great fun concepting and sketching something from mind and paint some more wich has been a totally enjoyable discovery ( PS and all that I've never been quite into it) and I think now it's time to start studying a bit in order to enhance my painting skills, so it'll all be fun. For the first time I feel like I'm enjoying the trip and not caring so much about the destination. So yeah, I'll bring some scans soon, but don't expect something new in terms of style or quality cause it's old, "same stuff" and mediocre execution so I'm wondering even if I must scan them, takes a long time , there are a lot, quite old and I don't even care to share them ,oh well, we'll see. For the rest hope you enjoy this update and have a neat day. See yaaaa! So, for today we have three speed paintings, two of them are stuff I've painted a long time ago and that I've reworked for 45 minutes each in order to see what I was able to achieve with swiftness, the answer?: Not much xD Oh and some random dude I made to practice values and more steps on the WIP I uploaded a couple days ago and the version without the LAME overlay.

Back Again I Guess...

Hey Fellas! Well, been having hard times lately, Spain is kinda fucked up, specially over the wide spread corruption network all around, people is on edge. But oh well, that's life sometimes. On my very personal way I've been experiencing first hand the biggest lack of motivation I've ever encountered before in my aim to become a profesional artist. Yet I feel a bit better, and I feel I have surpassed the worst fear of all wich is coming back to something you gave up on. So yeah... here I am again, uploading a couple sketches I made, more will be coming soon. I hope I eventually break the limits that nowadays make me a less than average artist. After all this time I should be back with tons of shit but unafortunately I'm having serious issues with my scanner controlers and won't be back to upload the chunk of stuff hidden in the sketchbooks, yet. So I'd like to end this entry by sending my best wishes to my grandfather who's currently in hospital , I know you'll get better cause nothing can stop you! Take care and don't let yourself down!
